Apple doubles iPhone sales in 1Q
Apple Inc. on Tuesday said it sold 37 million iPhones in the quarter, double the figure of the previous quarter and more than twice as many as it sold in last year’s holiday quarter.
That’s a whole lot of iPhones. It’s likely due to the fact that it the phone became available to Sprint.
Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, the visionary creator who changed the world of technology in more ways than any computer we have could possibly count, has died at the age of 56.
To say the outpouring of grief in the tech world (and currently on Twitter) is massive would be an understatement. Apple’s tribute page invites those who wish to remember Jobs to email rememberingsteve@apple.com.
