Thousands show respect to fallen officer during procession
Thousands of people lined the route of the funeral procession for senior police officer Jaime Padron, who was honored today at a ceremony at Shoreline Church in Northwest Austin.
The procession, estimated to be about 18 miles long, wound its way south on Interstate 35 past APD headquarters, west on Ben White Boulevard and then south on Texas 71.
